After we decided on a design, I made a pounce stencil to transfer it to the storefront.
I used a pounce wheel to punch tiny holes in the paper
the stencil was taped in place and a bag filled with chalk rubbed over it
the chalk went through the holes onto the storefront.  Voilà!
