August 6, 2014 - 8:17am

The whole school in South London was covered in them. Looked great... I seriously love your work.
Colouring in contest Raised £100 for flood disaster in Myanmar/Burma. Heaps of kids won lights, bells donated by bike shops who put them up in their shops.
Was an entirely inclusive part of BikeWeek that had cyc training through the week, culminated in a fair with the school bike club hosting checks & tune ups.
Sorry for the breach of copyright. I wouldn't do it again
Just after this I went to the mess worlds in Dublin and met someone who knew you for the first time.. A NYC messenger.. Can't remember who.
Anyway, friend me if you don't want to sue me
Thanks
P

On the Water!

August 1, 2014 - 9:10am

Me, Pit, Jenn and Mikel
rode out to the Sebago Canoe Club
for open paddle kayak.

It was awesome,
I like getting out on the water
and the clubs that make that possible.
Here's one of me and my little sister, Yael
sailing on the Charles in 1980 something

Last night Dave and I ate dinner on the roof
and saw some canoes paddling down the East River

we found out they were from the North Brooklyn Boat Club.
I can't wait to sign up and do some more aquatic adventuring!

Having another Drupal genius moment!!

July 28, 2014 - 7:25am

This website is in Drupal
I started working with it
on my birthday, September 13, 2011
when I felt that the static HTML site, I had started in 1998
was no longer cutting it.

I chose Drupal on the advice of my friend,
all around genuis and awesome person, Amanda,
who gave me and the new site a good start

It was almost 2 years in development
before this new site went live.
I had to learn alot about Drupal
and what goes with it, html and css
as it has changed in the last 15 years.

The site is, and will always be a work in progress.
That's the way I like it,
Building my site myself gives me control
It is very interesting and I think important to understand how
coding works, at least a little bit, when so much  is dependant on it.

The site  riddled with wacky stuff
that I tinker with endlessly.
adjusting  and  making  better as I learn.

The Drupal community is very supportive.
There are people and resources I can turn to if I really need help.

Most of the time, though,  I can figure stuff out,
fix what annoys me and make it work on my own.
It gives me an enormus sense of pride.

I just had one of those moments,
a breakthrough with an issue
I have been chipping away at for a while.
It has to do with CSS and the imagezoom module.
so I feel like some kind of  goddamn genius!
