In the Boiler Room Space
a big tall room, housing a magnificent boiler

I get really excited about chine colle.
Perfectly collaged paper with printing is beautiful.
The printing I'm currently doing is screenprinted, then glued
so not technically Chine Colle
but I wanted to mount little prints on contrasting paper
and do it all proper style

made a damp pack, wetting the paper, stacking it then wrapping in plastic.

dampened the print, front and back, applied a thin coat of methyl cellulose with a brush then wiped most of it off with paper towel

placed the print onto the support paper, laid a sheet of blank newsprint ontop and applied pressure to adhear

 drying stack made by alternating sheets of cardboard and blotters with the assembled prints

and  weighted with block weights from an out of service weightlifting machine

I started adding little pop up images to show the scale of my pictures.
It's something I had on the static HTML site but couldn't figure out for the Drupal site.
Until last weekends Drupal Playday, where Robbie the Geek sorted it out

and Le Tour De France Classification Jerseys that he wore throughout his career.
There has never been an exhibit that has the level of memorabilia that will be on display.
If you are in New York, swing by and get a chance to see some iconic stuff.
