Mucking around
trying to integrate the way I draw at Mineva's

Sketches before painting. This 1940's BSA track bike is one of my favorite muses.
It's simple and beautiful and has a wonderful worn quality
that conjures up old style 6 day races.

Happy and sad to be starting the year off
working with the bike of an old friend.
This trike is awesome!
So sweet from every angle
the future awaits!

Psyched to have Austin's Bike in the studio!
Alvin Drysdale built lightweight bicycles in Manhattan,
working from the 1920s until the 1950s.
He made bikes with his own name, such as Drysdale Special,
and with other names including Alvin and Velox.
