This piece—and the first few in this group—were made by printing the key plate, the bike silhouette, over a makeready sheet I’d used to get ink flowing and test screen prints. I cut out the silhouette and collaged it onto 2-ply Rising museum board.
I love how these turned out: bold, beautiful, and just a little unexpected. A surprise each time.
