I first painted Chad’s bike in 2001, when he was riding it for everything, including messenger work and alleycats in NYC and Minneapolis. It’s been one of my favorite bikes to paint.
Here I’m trying something different — a blind drawing made directly with marker and watercolor, letting the line find its way.
