Tonight I'm thinking of what I should be thinking
when I draw for a few minutes.
And just everyday throw some marks down,
Just to keep my hand fresh.

I should do it in a concentrated way.
Now I'm fiddling to early
What I should try to do, maybe tomorrow
Is get something down in a loose general shape
And not focus on specifics too early.

One thing to try is think about light and dark
or mass and emptiness.
Sit down with an idea.
