This Bike belongs to my friend Bernard, a pastry chef and devoted bike restorer. It's fun to have it in the studio.
These drawings are done with a brush pen. The aim is to do warm up sketches like in a drawingclass in the studio

pushing myself to draw more— quick pieces that are mostly practice. They begin as blind drawings, loose and scribbly, puzzles to solve as I go. Pausing when the moment feels right, without fussing or fixing too much, and seeing what comes out.
