This print started as a sketch before painting. The bike belonged to Jase, for whom it was a powerful symbol of his mobility and independence.The drawing has become a self portrait as I go through my biggest challenges struggling to get a handle on grief and come to terms with the sudden death of my brother, Pavel, last month.
